Year In Review 2012: 12 Best Moments For Post 50s This Year

It doesn't seem that long ago that we were counting down (10...! 9...! 8...!) to midnight, January 1, 2012. Yet over the last 12 months, a lot of things have happened in the worlds of science, culture, entertainment, and national and global politics that have given us both reasons to cringe -- and also to celebrate.

Huff/Post 50 wants to focus on the latter, especially when it comes to news that reconfirmed what we truly believe here: life does not end at 50. And in a year full of scandal (General David Petraeus' affair and resignation come to mind), we were gladdened to hear stories about how much healthier, active, involved and engaged midlifers were in 2012.
