The public is invited to attend the Greater Fort Erie Chamber of Commerce?s interactive team building workshop, ?The Magic of Collaboration?, on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Centre from 8 a.m. to noon.
Presented to such companies as Imperial Oil, Sysco Foodservices, Campbell Soups, and Research in Motion, Chamber Operations Manager Karen Audet said she was thrilled that Fort Erie resident Anthony Lindan has offered to bring ?such a high caliber event right to our community?s doorstep.
Whether a member of a family or a corporate team, there is so much value in learning how to connect, communicate, and inspire others to be effective members of a team, so we are hopeful that our business community will take full advantage of this tremendous and cost-effective learning opportunity.?
Following registration and breakfast buffet, participants will engage in a hands-on workshop designed to explore the secrets of collaborative learning, presentation skills, innovative thinking, creative problem solving, time management, and humour development all while learning and presenting a magic trick.
Prizes will be awarded to the top teams. Individual cost to attend is $40 plus tax or $35 for a table of eight.
