Choosing Charlotte Pass Ski Resort

For those who are looking for a more secluded and boutique resort to go skiing and snowboarding in Australia, Charlotte Pass Ski resort might just be the place they should make reservations with. Set in Mount Kosciuszko, it is one of those parks that are less frequently visited, although the place is beautiful and relaxing nonetheless. It is one of the oldest resorts in Australia and it is named after Charlotte Adams, the first woman to scale the heights of Mount Kosciuszko in 1881 at the lowest temperature.

Small and Intimate

Unlike Chile Ski Resorts and others, Charlotte Pass Ski resort is small and intimate. It features only two terrain parks: the Freestyle Terrain Park and Charlottes Play Park. The first one is ideal for adults and it offers jumps, rails and tabletops. The second one, on the other hand, is suitable for children and it has mini jumps, snake trails and woop-de-doos. The entire resort can only be roamed around by skiing, and it only features a few lifts.

Foods and Drinks

Aside from its quiet and beautiful terrain, the resort also features a lot of facilities that will make any visitors stay worthwhile and relaxing. Like Chile Ski Resorts, it is home to a number of bars and restaurants that offers a variety of menu for everyone to enjoy. Arches Restaurant is the best among these. Not only do they serve a la Carte food on a daily basis, but they also offer a special buffet during Fridays and Sundays as well as a country style breakfast. Arches also have a cocktail lounge, where aprs ski can sit back, relax and enjoy a special drink made by the bartenders. It is open every afternoon. The resort also hosts the Cellar, a bar which includes a pool table and live music. Visitors can enjoy a cold glass of beer daily. For those who are looking for fast food, there is the Kosi Bar and Bistro, which serves lunch, snacks and drinks every day.

Reservations and Travel

Booking a reservation in Charlotte Pass Ski Resort is an easy business. To avoid queuing, it is best to avoid local outlets and visit online stores instead. By doing this, one can get the passes quicker and they can sometimes get certain promos that are not available elsewhere. Likewise, getting there is also smooth and stress-free. Locals from Queenstown to Wakana can visit the resort via driving, although to get to the site itself, they would have to ride Skitube.
