NIAGARA ? Environment Canada has issued a high-wind warning for south Niagara.
The warning is in effect for south Niagara communities, including Niagara Falls, Welland, Fort Erie, Port Colborne and Wainfleet.
The passage of a cold front overnight has brought strong winds, at times gusting up to 90 km-h.
The wind speed is expected to decrease somewhat by mid morning.
Motorists and parents with school-aged children are urged to exercise caution until the storm subsides.
